Ingredients
3 lbs. Ground Beef (We recommend 80/20)
6 oz. Blue Cheese, Crumbled
-
2 tsp. Bourbon Pepper, Cracked
-
2 Tbsp. Col. Pabst Worcestershire Sauce
-
2 tsp. Roasted Garlic Powder
-
1 1/2 tsp. Hickory Smoked Sea Salt
-
1 1/2 tsp. Ancho Chile Powder
Directions
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Cover seasoned ground beef with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, up to overnight.
Preheat grill and lightly oil the grate with vegetable oil. Divide seasoned beef into 12 equal patties. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium, or cook longer for a well-done burger.
Remove from the grill and serve immediately along with your favorite burger toppings.
Recipe Note
You can substitute the Hickory Smoked Sea Salt in this recipe for Smoked Sea Salt or Smoked Bacon Salt for a slightly different taste.
I like to use a kitchen scale to insure my patties are all equal and then when I form my patties I put a dimple in the center so that the burger cooks more evenly.
