Garlic Olive Oil
Garlic comes from a lily-like plant, and is a cousin to similar-tasting onions, chives, leeks and scallions. The bouquet of garlic is harsh, penetrating and lasting.
Olive oil is a hugely popular oil throughout the world, both for cooking and for eating as a condiment [like a salad dressing, or a bread dip, or in a sauce] with foods.
Garlic -- like olive oil -- is essential in the robust cookery of the Mediterranean region, is indispensable to Indian cookery and is widely used in China and South East Asia. Our Garlic Olive Oil marries these two often-used pantry staples, and combines them in one full-flavored, versatile oil.
Our Garlic Olive Oil actually gives off the flavor of slow-roasted garlic. Its aroma is intoxicating, and the taste is out of this world. A small amount of garlic olive oil will 'lift' dishes of meat, fish and vegetables. Use our robust Garlic Olive Oil liberally in soups, salad dressings, pates, terrines, salamis and smoked spiced sausages. Pasta dishes often call for sauces flavored with garlic; try a little of our Garlic Olive Oil to create an easy, full-flavored sauce!
P.S. Be sure to try a little Garlic Olive Oil in your next batch of mashed potatoes, and/or drizzle steaks with Garlic Olive Oil just before grilling. Fantastic!
