INGREDIENTS

3/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup water
1/4 Cup orange juice, no pulp
1/2 Cup lemon juice, no pulp
6 whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon
1/4 Cup loose-leaf tea [or 4 tea bags, orange pekoe or black tea]

STEPS
Boil 3/4 Cup sugar with 1/2 Cup water. Remove from heat and add 1/4 Cup orange juice, 1/2 Cup lemon juice, 6 whole cloves and 1 cinnamon stick. Meanwhile, make a strong batch of hot [black or orange pekoe] tea. Combine spice-and-juice mix with the hot tea, and serve in tea cups. Makes about 8 servings.
