INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup granulated sugar
1/2 Cup dark brown sugar
1/2 Cup water
1/4 Cup pumpkin puree
2 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Blend

STEPS
Whisk together all ingredients in a small sauce pan over low heat. Stir mixture constantly as it warms until the sugar and spices dissolve. Remove pot from heat and strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer, discarding the solids that are filtered out. Store the spiced simple syrup in a lidded jar with a tight seal for up to a month in the refrigerator. For longer storage, store sealed container in the freezer, allowing syrup to thaw at room temperature before using.
