INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Honey Nut Chex cereal
2 Cups Rice Chex cereal
2 Cups Cinnamon Life cereal
1 Cup pecans, chopped
1/4 Cup (1/2 stick) salted butter, melted
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/4 Cup light brown sugar
1 Tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
2 Cups Brach’s Candy Pumpkins

STEPS:
Combine the pecans, two kinds of Chex, and cinnamon Life cereal in a large microwave-safe bowl.  Melt the butter in a small pan or microwaveable dish, and whisk together with the vanilla before pouring over the nut-cereal mixture. Toss to coat the crunchy bits with the vanilla-butter seasoning.

Take another small bowl, and combine the brown sugar and pumpkin spice blend, stirring together with a fork to mix thoroughly, then sprinkling over the butter-coated cereal mixture. Toss again to make sure the sugar-spice mix coats the buttery cereal.

“Toast” the sugared, spiced cereal in the microwave for five minutes on the highest heat setting. Pause after each minute elapses to stir around the snack mix.  Remove the toasted snack mix from the microwave, and spread in a single layer on a wax paper-lined baking sheet. Allow to cool thoroughly (at least 30 min) before transferring to a serving bowl and tossing with the candy pumpkins (can use candy corn if you prefer).

There will probably not be leftovers, but on the odd chance that there are, store them in an airtight sealable container for up to one week.
