INGREDIENTS

3-1/3 Tbs hazelnuts
4 Tbs pistachio nuts
10 Tbsp white sesame seeds
5 Tbsp ground coriander seeds
2-1/2 Tbsp ground cumin seeds
1 tsp fleur de sel (salt), more or less to taste
1/2 tsp ground black pepper

STEPS

Dukkah, an Egyptian specialty, is a savory blend of roasted nuts seasoned with spices. Many different nuts may be included in dukkah – may substitute hazelnuts and pistachios with macadamia, pine nuts, or others to your liking.  Simply delicious!

1.  Roast the hazelnuts and pistachio nuts, and chop into small dice in a food processor.

2.  Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan until golden brown.

3.  Blend nuts, sesame seeds, and remaining ingredients together.

4.  Enjoy by dipping your favorite bread into a deliciously good extra virgin olive oil.  We recommend our Organic San Severo.  Enjoy!
