Mediterranean Masterpiece Pop-Up Box


Being sequestered at home has us longing for far-away sights, and we’ve been dreaming of a Mediterranean Cruise! This box brings the flavors of the Mediterranean home to you.

  • We’ll set sail from Greece, where we’re featuring our Eureka Lemon Olive Oil. This olive oil is perfect for sautéing shrimp or scallops. It provides a lemony burst of flavor for grilled asparagus or any mild green vegetable. It’s also classic in a citrus vinaigrette over fresh greens. Our Greek Seasoning is perfect in a lamb marinade, or for chicken kebabs served over warm pita bread. The combination of marjoram, thyme, oregano, lemon peel, basil and peppermint also makes it an intriguing bread dipper.
    Moving along to Italy, we’re featuring our Sun Dried Tomato Pesto Rosso, an exceptionally flavorful pesto with the addition of sun dried tomatoes and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese. Use it in place of a more traditional green pesto in pastas, sandwiches, as a dip, or with meats. We love dipping a warm, crusty piece of bread into it. While in Italy, we must also think of simple, homey, Italian cooking. We use the Italian Seasoning Blend in most of our traditional Italian dishes - in long simmering marinara, in cheesy lasagna, or on meatball subs. Perfect on garlic bread, this one is comfort food at its best.
    Our foray into France starts with our French Provincial Salt, which adds a finishing touch to grilled or roasted veggies and a nice, herby alternative to plain sea salt. From there, we turn our attention to our Blackberry Ginger Balsamic, which has the sun-kissed sweetness of blackberry and the subtle heat of ginger. French blackberries are harvested in late summer, and they are much mellower than ours here at home. Try this balsamic as sweet-tart marinade for roast pork, reduced into a tasty finishing sauce for chicken, and in homemade jellies and vinaigrettes.
    Finishing our culinary tour in Spain, we end with Five Onion Dip Seasoning. Onions are a culinary staple in Spain, and sofrito (sautéed onions, garlic, peppers, and tomatoes) is the base of many Spanish recipes. The humble onion makes a savory seasoning that isn’t just for the classic Onion Dip, but is also a flavorful base for soups, stews, and marinade. We love to toss our premium olive oils with this seasoning over grilled or roasted potatoes or for seasoning chicken and seafood.
