Denise's Mustard Kit contains the (not-so) secret ingredients that make it the best companion to your brats (and your burgers, hot dogs, and ham sandwiches!): 5 oz bottle of Champagne vinegar, 1/2 Cup of ground Yellow Mustard, 1/4 cup Kosher salt, and the recipe card.
It's ridiculously simple to make: Stir the ground mustard and vinegar together and let stand overnight at room temp in a covered jar. The next day, stir eggs, salt, and sugar into vinegar mustard mixture and cook in a double boiler for 15 mins until it thickens. The mustard will set up and thicken more as it cools. Put into sterile jars.
