For the Sauce:
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Prepare the Crust:
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Combine the milk with the olive oil and pour into the dry ingredient mixture. Stir to combine.
Roll out dough to fit your pizza pan, and place in the pan.
Par-bake the crust for 10 minutes.
Prepare the Sauce:
While the crust is par-baking, stir together sauce ingredients until well combined. No need to heat the sauce prior to topping the pizza with it.
Assemble the Pizza:
Remove the par-baked crust from the oven and top with the sauce and your favorite toppings. Bake for another 8-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the toppings are thoroughly heated through.
Recipe Note
Try using a flavored olive oil in the pizza crust. Our favorites are our Pesto, Basil, Tuscan Herb, or Garlic Infused Olive Oils. For a variation on the basic sauce recipe, replace the oregano with our Pizza Blend or Gusto Pizza Co. Pizza Seasoning Blend.
