Blood Orange Olive Oil Brownies

Blood Orange Olive Oil Brownies

4 oz. Unsweetened Chocolate
1 oz. Bittersweet Chocolate
1 C. All-Purpose Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder

3/4 tsp. Sea Salt, Fine
4 Eggs

1 Tbsp. Vanilla Extract (We Like the Bourbon Island in this Recipe)
2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Butter
-
1/2 C. Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil
1 C. Walnuts (Coarsely Chopped, if Desired)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 9×12 baking pan. On low heat, melt chocolate in saucepan, stirring constantly. Set aside to cool.
In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt. Melt butter, add Blood Orange Fused Olive Oil, sugar and incorporate one egg at a time. Add in vanilla, then chocolate.
Fold in dry ingredients and walnuts (if desired). Try not to over mix the batter. Pour mixture into pan, smoothing off the top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Allow to cool before slicing into squares and serving.
