Spotlight Spice: Porcini Mushroom Sea Salt

This week's Spotlight Spice comes from the Salts & Peppers section of the shop and is perfect for mushroom lovers - It's our Porcini Mushroom Sea Salt!

This customer and staff favorite combines natural sea salt with a blend of porcini and other forest mushrooms like champignon and bolete. Garlic and onion powders are added to amplify the rich, umami flavor.

We love to use this flavored salt to finish grilled or roasted beef, pork and poultry. It's also great on rice, potato, and polenta dishes. Sprinkle it on your favorite pasta dish or try adding a bit to your olive oil for tasty bread dipping. It's also a fantastic base for homemade barbecue rubs.
