Mo'Rub Blend

This week we’re shining the spotlight on Des Moines local favorite Mo’Rub Blend.

Made by Des Moines locals Steph and Mo, this zippy blend of sea salt, paprika, garlic, black and red pepper, onion, and other herbs and spices makes a great universal seasoning…with a kick.  If you like a bit of heat, use this blend just as you would a house seasoning – on everything!


Give it a try on your roasted potatoes, sweet corn, asparagus, and other veggies. It’s also a great rub for pork, beef, and chicken. Add a dash to your meatloaf, taco meat, or chili…it’s also a particularly good rub for chicken wings.

Whip up a tasty dip by combining 2 C. (or a 16 oz. container) of Sour Cream with 1 Tbsp. Mo’Rub Blend, then serve with chips, pretzels, or fresh veggies.
