Fig Balsamic Vinegar

According to our neighbor Susan, "Figs are where it's at!" and we couldn't agree more. This week's Spotlight Spice is our tasty Fig Balsamic Vinegar, which is sweet, sour, and a bit "jammy" with notes of red fruit, ripe fig, and a hint of plum.

Our Fig Balsamic Vinegar makes a tasty vinaigrette when paired with our Blood Orange or Eureka Lemon Fused Olive Oils or our Basil or Rosemary Infused Olive Oils. Use it to dress a salad of wintery greens with toasted walnuts or pecans and blue cheese.

It's also great reduced and served on a cheese board or drizzled over roasted Brussels sprouts or butternut squash. You can even enjoy it drizzled over vanilla ice cream with fresh berries.

For a flavorful marinade, combine in equal parts with our Garlic Infused Olive Oil and pour over pork, poultry, or beef.
