A Tale of Two Butters...
This week is all about butter… butter flavored olive oil, that is. And now we have two!
Both our regular, savory Butter Infused Olive Oil and our new Sweet Butter Infused Olive Oil are available at the AllSpice tasting bar. With two on tap, you’re probably wondering, “What’s the difference?”
Both our Butter and Sweet Butter infused olive oils are flavored with vegetal extracts to taste just like butter and are vegan-friendly and gluten-free. The difference? Sweet butter is slightly sweeter with caramelly notes.
Both are great drizzled over popcorn, tossed with veggies prior to grilling or roasting, whipped into mashed potatoes, and used to fry eggs. They are also tasty drizzled over pancakes, waffles, and French toast.
Try pairing either with our Bourbon Maple, Vermont Maple, Cinnamon Pear, Honey Ginger, Habanero Honey, or Coconut White balsamic vinegars for dressings and marinades.
We also like to refrigerate a small dish of this olive oil, which causes it to solidify. It can then be used as a spreadable butter alternative on toast, corn on the cob, or nearly anything else you’d use spreadable butter on.
