Since 2005, the World Food Festival has been a celebration of Iowa’s rich agricultural heritage, along with live music and gustatory delights from local restaurants, chefs, and mom-and-pop operations, showcasing the broad range of cultural and culinary interests in our community.
New this year: For 2014 the festival will move to a new location, the Walnut Street Bridge. The new location will allow the event to add more food vendors, a bigger stage with expanded music and entertainment, larger cultural and cooking demonstration tents, and an overall a bigger better experience.
Added benefit for you, and for us: with the festival moved a few blocks away, you’ll now have a clear shot getting to East 4th and Locust Street, to stop in and see us during the event! We’ll be open Friday, 10 am – 6 pm, Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm, and Sunday, noon – 5 pm.
Full schedule of musical performances, cooking demonstrations, and list of participating food stands and vendors is available at the World Food and Music Festival website.
See you at the festival!
