No Foolin: Food Holidays in April

April_FlowersT.S. Elliot famously said that April is the cruelest month. He may have had a point there. Between late-season snowfall, tax deadlines, and funny-bordering-on-cruel pranks for April Fools’ Day, it is no surprise that April is “celebrated” as National Stress Awareness Month (!!).

But hey, on the up-side, April is also National Humor Month, International Guitar Month …. and National Poetry Month, too. And can a month that celebrates Grilled Cheese *and* the BLT sandwich (*and* garlic!!) all month long be all that bad?

Celebrated all month long:
National BLT Sandwich Month and National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Month
National Garlic Month
National Soft Pretzel Month
National Soy Foods Month

Weeklong food celebrations:
National Bake Week (first week)
National Egg Salad Week (second week)

Reasons to celebrate, day by day in April:
