What are we looking for in your grilling recipe?
We’re curious to know what you like to cook on the grill:

Just like last month’s contest, our rules are simple: the recipe must be your own (or your own creative adaptation), and must use at least one AllSpice ingredient. The deadline is June 16.
Winner gets the Barnyard gift set of six different rubs and blends, each perfectly suited for delectable dishes you can cook on the grill.
Statisticians Are Serious About Grilling. According to the 23rd annual Weber Grill Watch Survey (yes, there really is such a thing), over seventy percent of American grown-ups own a grill or smoker (or both), and three-quarters of those grill owners use their grill at least once a week.
The most-often-grilled dish is (no surprise) the hamburger, and the survey respondents thought that dessert was the hardest thing to grill.

Let’s be careful out there. The Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association (yes, there is such a thing) has a list of general grilling safety tips here. They are mostly “no duh!” recommendations (don’t move a hot grill, use the grill outside only, don’t leave the grill unattended) – but don’t say we didn’t warn you.
