Moo Gift Box - Beef Lover's Assortment
Beef: it isn't just what's for dinner. It's also the focus of attention of our Moo Seasoning Gift Box. This set of four different seasoning blends covers a range of culinary traditions and flavors, from the Big Apple to Espresso, selected to make your beef recipes taste fantastic, whether you're cooking on the grill, in the oven, or on the stove.
Moo consists of four of our best selling beef rubs and spice blends: Espresso Rub, Bourbon Pepper Blend, Quebec Steak Seasoning and our New York Steak and Burger Blend.
A zesty mix of black pepper, garlic, and other strong spices that complement beef on the grill, use New York Steak & Burger Seasoning with your favorite type of steak - mix it into a marinade, or use it "straight" on the meat as a rub. But don't limit yourself to using New York Steak & Burger Seasoning solely on the most expensive cuts of meat. New York Steak & Burger Seasoning brings a peppery rush to all kinds of beef.
Quebec Steak Seasoning is derived from the dry-rub mix used in preparing Montreal smoked meat, which itself is adapted from pickling mixes originally used in Eastern Europe and Romanian Jewish cuisine. A chunky blend of dill, coriander, pepper and other spices that truly enhance the flavor of steak, our Quebec Steak Seasoning is a fabulous blend for pot roasts and beef stews, too. Marinate good steaks in red wine and a heavy coating of Quebec Steak Seasoning for 30 minutes before grilling for a carnivorous treat.
When you say "bourbon," we think "Kentucky," home to many excellent varieties of aged liquor, and also home to horse-racing's Kentucky Derby. The first weekend in May, folks put on their best garden party duds, fire up the grill for some thick steaks, and also mix up some fabulous adult beverages. Our bourbon pepper blend evokes that spirit of gracious entertaining, a blend of premium green and black peppercorns, melded with herbs, spices, and real bourbon.
For our Espresso Rub, we add ground espresso beans to herbs and spices, for an unexpected zing to any steak. Espresso rub adds a robust touch to grilled beef, and is even tasty on vegetables [if you include that food group in your nutrition regimen]. Use espresso rub on meats by shaking liberally onto all surfaces of the steak. Espresso rub needs only 30 minutes to 1 hour of advance seasoning before grilling.
